Engineering Management & Leadership

The Interdisciplinary Engineering Master's degree is our most flexible online master's with concentrations in a variety of areas, including the popular Engineering Management and Leadership program.  This master's program is designed to be non-thesis.  To be successfully admitted, applicants must hold an undergraduate degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or one with equivalent standards.

Admission into the online Interdisciplinary Master's is based on the following criteria:

  1. Application form to Graduate School (Select "Interdisciplinary Engineering")
  2. Statement of Purpose (300-500 words)
  3. Official Transcripts (international students need 2 sets in both the original language and English translation)
  4. Three letters of recommendation
  5. TOEFL scores (international only). (Overall 100 iBT)
  6. Current Resume

NOTE to non-engineering bachelor's degree candidates: If you hold a bachelor's degree that is from a related area (Science, Mathematics, or Technology), there is a minimum math requirement in order to be considered eligible to apply.

  • 2 Completed College level Calculus Courses (Engineering Calculus)
  • 1 Completed Differential Equations or Linear Algebra Course


  • May 1 for summer term
  • July 1 for fall term
  • November 1 for spring term
