Pick the Program That Helps You Meet Your Goals

Engineering Professional Education offers both degree and non-degree options to meet your career objectives.

Pursue a Graduate Degree or Certificate

If you qualify, you may earn a master’s degree through graduate courses delivered to your home or workplace as well as educational viewing sites.

  • Graduate degrees and certificates are offered.
  • There is no on-campus residency requirement to participate.
  • You earn the same degree as on-campus students.
  • You must apply and be admitted to the Graduate School of Purdue University.
  • Once accepted, you will develop a plan of study with a faculty advisory committee.

Advance Your Goals with a Non-Degree Option

If you already have an advanced degree or are not working toward a master's, you may choose one of the following professional non-degree options.

  • Post baccalaureate non-degree option enables you to complete classes while you are applying to become a degree-seeking student.
  • A limited number of post baccalaureate courses may be included later in a master’s plan.
  • Courses may also be audited. You will receive a grade of audit at the end of the semester and no academic credit is awarded. You cannot change from audit status to credit status after the semester begins. Please contact our office for more information and to request an audit permission form
