Learning Objective:
Develop methods and tools needed to analyze forming processes and material removal processes to predict forces, pressures, deformation and product properties; applications of these techniques to automotive and aerospace manufacturing processes are discussed.

Description:
Theories and applications of materials forming and removal processes in manufacturing, including product properties, process capabilities, processing equipment design, and economics. A systems approach to all aspects of manufacturing process engineering.
