Nick Craig
Ph.D. Student
Nick Craig is a second-year master’s student in the Oguri research group at Purdue University. He received his BS in 2023 in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue alongside minors in both physics and mathematics. His research is currently focused on robust angles-only navigation and indirect optimal trajectory design under uncertainty. Nick previously worked at York Space Systems in the summer of 2024 as a mission autonomy software engineer working primarily on satellite fault detection and recovery. The summer prior he completed a co-op with Collins Aerospace as a mechanical engineer where he was a gearbox and pump program design lead. Outside of work and academia, Nick enjoys hiking, fishing, and snowboarding.
