ECE 462 Policy for Collaboration

For each programming assignment, you are allowed to work with one and only one student that is also taking ECE 462 in the same semester. You can change your teammate for different assignments. You can also work alone for some assignments and with a teammate for the other assignments. Please choose your own teammate. If you want to find a teammate, you can post in the course discussion board. You do not need the instructor's approval to select a teammate; nor does the instructor help any student find a teammate.

You can discuss with anyone about the assignments, lab exercieses, and course material. You can write, read, and discuss code with your teammate only. Sharing code with anyone other than your teammate is strictly forbidden.  If you discuss with anyone other than your teammate, you must explicitly list the name of the person and the topic of discussion in your README file.  The teaching staff will perform electronic plagiarism checking. If there is strong evidence that you share code with anyone other than your teammate, both will be reported to the associate head of ECE.

If you work in a team, both students must submit all the files. Both must submit a file called GROUP. This file includes the names, Purdue ID, and Purdue accounts of you and your teammate. Grading will follow these rules.
