Indranil Chakraborty Interns with Intel

Indranil Chakraborty had the opportunity to intern with Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon during the summer of 2019.

 

Indranil is currently pursuing his PhD at Purdue University under the direction of Professor Kaushik Roy. His research interest includes in-memory computing platforms based on CMOS, beyond-CMOS technologies and Si Photonics as well as technology-aware algorithms under the broad umbrella of neuromorphic computing.

 

During his internship position with Intel, Indranil focused on near memory accelerators. He really enjoyed working with an amazing manager, and he was fascinated by the way the industry works. Indranil's internship experience afforded him many networking opportunities.
