Adarsh Kosta received his Dual degree (Integrated B.Tech + M.Tech) in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering (ECE) with specialization in Visual Information Processing and Embedded Systems from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, in 2018. He worked as an Extreme Blue summer intern at IBM India System Development Lab (ISDL) in 2017. Prior to this, he worked as a MITACS Globalink summer research intern at University of British Columbia, Canada in 2016. Currently, he is pursuing Ph.D. degree at Purdue University under the guidance of Prof. Kaushik Roy. His research interests lie in neuromorphic computing, in-memory computing architectures and modifying deep network architectures to better scale with hardware. He's currently exploring Spiking Neural Network architectures for Deep Reinforcement Learning targeted at aerial vehicles and personal robots. In his free time, he likes to code, tinker with electronic gadgets and build some electronic solutions that simplify daily life. His hobbies include playing badminton and reading books.
