Timur Ibrayev

Timur Ibrayev received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan in 2017. During his undergraduate program, he was working on designing neuromorphic architectures using emerging devices. This resulted in a design for Hierarchical Temporal Memories (HTM) based on memristor-CMOS hybrid circuits. Starting from 2017, he is pursuing Ph.D. d under the guidance of Prof. Kaushik Roy. His current research interest includes Deep Learning algorithms with specific focus on theory of deep learning and possibility of applying these to lifelong learning paradigm.
