2015 US-Japan Seminar on Two-Phase Flow Dynamics

The objective of the 2015 US-Japan Seminar on Two-Phase Flow Dynamics is to bring together key researchers from these two countries to have in-depth discussions on multiphase flow research. The seminar was funded by the NSF and it was held on the campus of Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana over a six-day period beginning with a reception on Sunday, May 10, 2015 and ending on Friday, May 15, 2015. There were seven sessions with keynote lectures and presentations preceded by an opening session with a plenary talk by Prof. Arden Bement, former NSF Director, on Monday morning. There was also an NRC sponsored Workshop on Fukushima on Wednesday May 13 with guest speakers from the US and Japan Regulatory institutions.
