The School of Nuclear Engineering, Purdue University, seeks outstanding individuals for new tenured track faculty positions. Exceptional candidates for ranks of Assistant/Associate Professor are encouraged to apply. Candidates must hold an earned Ph.D. degree in nuclear engineering or related discipline. The candidates should have a distinguished record, exceptional potential for world-class research and a commitment to both undergraduate and graduate education. Outstanding candidates with a strong proven background for developing research and teaching in the area of reactor physics and various other nuclear engineering and related areas (for example, nuclear materials, nuclear fuel cycle, imaging and nuclear medicine, nanotechnology, nuclear fusion, plasma physics, computational physics, nuclear detection, reactor physics and safety) will be considered. Faculty members are encouraged to utilize the exceptional research facilities available in the School.
