Jonathan Baker wins Backé Medal for Best Paper

For the second time in a row, a member of the Maha Fluid Power Research Center has won the best paper award at the bi-annual FPNI Symposium. This year in Krakow, Poland, at the 5th Phd Symposium, Jonathan Baker won for his paper entitled Investigation of Power Losses in the Lubricating Gap between the Cylinder Block and Valve Plate of Axial Piston Machines.

Additionally, Najoua Jouini and Richard Klop both received honorable mention for their papers entitled Valve Plate Surface Temperature Prediction in Axial Piston Machines and Investigation of Noise Source Reduction Strategies in Hydrostatic Transmissions, respectively.
