During the summer 2020 six ME undergraduate students (Reece Staples, Glynn Gallaway, Grace Szymanski, Carolina Curto, Melissa Curto, Cooper Tavss) conduct research on engineering mechanics problems. The projects include work with popsicle stick bombs (as an example of transition waves), lego (to study fracture mechanics), and tiles (to construct and analyze interlocking spine structures).
