Atomic Force Microscopy

Atomic force microscopy (AFM) is a type of scanning probe microscope with sub-nanometer resolution. Capabilites of AFM include: measuring surface roughness, evaluating interactions between neighboring atoms, and studying physical properties as a function of atomic arrangement.
