Mechanical Engineering Communications
The mission of the Mechanical Engineering Communications Program is to enhance the professional competence of our engineering students through an integrated, systematic development of technical and professional communication skills across the mechanical engineering curriculum.
In keeping with new recommendations from the National Academy of Engineering, global competency--including knowledge about globalization and skills for intercultural effectiveness--has become an important objective of our engineering communications program.
The foundation for global engineering communication skills is provided in the Global Engineering Professional Seminar, ME 290. Links to that course are provided on this site as well as additional links to related resources.
