  • Fluid is ambiant air.  The line array is centered at the arigin, with N=5 elements. d=10 cm.
  • The frequency is 4380 Hz, corresponding to kd=8. (corresponds to Figure 7.8.2 in K&F, 4th ed).
  • Shown below is the instantaneous acoustic pressure.  Note the major lobes at 0 and 52 degrees.
  • Maximum positive pressure is blue, and minimum (negative) pressure is red; zero pressure is blue/green (the B&K color!)
