Why Give?

Every gift matters, regardless of its size. Your gift, in the form and for the purpose you choose, will play a crucial role in the progress and continuing success of Purdue Mechanical Engineering. Your gifts enrich our students' educational experience and increase ME’s competitive edge among its peers.

It is important to realize that every gift provides more than financial support for Purdue ME. Giving metrics are often used as a way to gauge institutions significance in terms of its national ranking, and the historical generosity of Purdue alumni and friends has helped attract top faculty.

People give to Purdue Mechanical Engineering for many reasons. They give because they believe an investment in the School is an investment in the future or because they received scholarship support and want to pay that generosity forward. People give because they experienced financial hardship when they were students and want to use their resources to help the newest generation of Purdue engineers. People give in memory of friends or loved ones and because of the fond memories they hold from their time on campus. Some people give simply because they bleed Gold and Black!
