On December 2nd, JTRP hosted FHWA Indiana Division Administrator Mayela Sosa and her colleagues, Jermaine Hannon, Keith Hoernschemeyer, Jose Ortiz, and Karen Stippich. Highlights of the visit included tours of the Bowen Laboratory, CAI/S-BRITE Center, and Hampton Hall with displayed posters and demonstrations by JTRP researchers. It was a great opportunity to showcase our Purdue partnership with FHWA and INDOT and to discuss future opportunities. More

Professor Rodrigo Salgado and Professor Monica Prezzi are testing 100-feet long, open-ended pipe piles for the new bridge crossing the Wabash River. The result of this research could reduce the cost of building or replacing bridges in the near future. More
