INDOT Team Receive Governor's Award for Implementing JTRP Research Recommendations

On May 7, fifteen INDOT employees were recognized by Governor Daniels for implementing the JTRP Research Recommendations from SPR-3411 "Recovering Full Repair Costs of INDOT Infrastructure Damaged by Motor Vehicle Crashes." The JTRP project principal investigator was Prof. Darcy Bullock. Dr. Shou Li served as the INDOT Project Administrator. The new process has reduced the number of days between the crash and billing by 72 percent over the last year, and increased the collection rate by 42 percent from 2010.
