Minutes of Meeting #958 February 1, 2002

Present: Professors Collicott, Gaunt, Groll, Huggins, Schmeiser, Spitzer, Sutton, Venkatasubramanian, and Zoltowski.

Absent: Professors Okos and Revankar.

1. The meeting was called to order by Chair Sutton. The agenda was approved as distributed.

2. Meeting minutes #957 were approved as distributed.

3. Announcements: EFD 10-01 has been flagged for discussion at the spring faculty meeting.

Electronic submission and distribution of EFDs was discussed. Committee representatives were asked to

think further about the proposal and be prepared for further discussion and possible action at the next

meeting.

Future agenda items will include discussion of minors in engineering programs and upcoming proposals

regarding EPICS courses.

4. Zoltowski moved that EFDs 80-00, 7-01, 8-01, 9-01, 11-01, 13-01, 15-01, and 16-01 be approved for the faculty; Groll seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. EFDs 80-00, 7-01, 8-01, 9-01, 11-01, 13-01, 15-01, and 16-01 were approved for the faculty.

5. Venkatasubramanian moved that EFD 35-01 be approved for distribution to the faculty; Zoltowski seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

• EFD 35-01 was approved for distribution to the faculty.
