Research

The ACS research initiative will identify assets, expertise, and researchers across diverse disciplines, including but not limited to, vehicle-to-vehicle software, artificial intelligence algorithms, optimized hardware development, sensor technologies, engine dynamics, cyber security systems, mobility, logistics, human factors, safety, consumer science, economic development and public policy. The College of Engineering has unique research strengths in autonomy, robotics, and IoT that will be amplified by bringing together interdisciplinary teams through this initiative. In addition, Purdue has significant research centers focused on autonomous and connected systems that will contribute expertise to this strategic focus. Those centers include:
