Home Sweet Home 3D Puzzle

Lower Age: 6+
Price: $9.99
Year Added: 2016

Home Sweet Home is a 3D puzzle that doubles as a 15-inch birthday-themed doll house after it has been built. The entire set includes over 100 2D paper foam pieces that can be connected together by grooves in each piece. When connected together, the pieces can be used to build 3D objects. All of the pieces in the set are numbered, and the set provides an instruction manual that outlines how to build each part of the puzzle. Once the puzzle has been built, the set can be played with as a doll house. As younger children may find the instructions more challenging, parents are encouraged to work together with their children to complete the dollhouse. The playset focuses on building spatial reasoning skills and design skills through the process of building the 3D structure using the smaller foam pieces. It promotes engineering thinking and design by pushing children to think critically about how to design the puzzle. Young children will develop a better understanding of spatial relationships and be introduced to design through the fun, dessert-themed context of this 3D puzzle.
