Thinking Putty Puzzle is a puzzle game by Thinkfun, designed for ages 8 and up. The game includes the instructions, puzzle grid, puzzle grid base with storage, 3 bridge pieces, 3 blocker pieces, 6 colors of Thinking Putty and 60 challenge cards with solutions. The challenge card presents the player with the layout of the putty dots and the locations of any bridge or blocker pieces. The object of the game is then to use a string of putty to connect the two dots of putty of the same color. The player must make sure the putty does not cross paths and that all the dots are connected. The puzzles range from beginner to expert level, providing a variety of different level challenges; if the user gets stuck, solutions for the puzzles are on the back of the puzzle card.

This game allows players to test their problem solving skills while they work to complete the puzzles. Completing the challenges will require the player to plan and test a solution, then make changes to the planned solution as needed. The game also teaches perseverance as it may take some time and trial and error to correctly solve the puzzles. While the putty aspect of this game is fun, it can be a little difficult to work with, so younger children may need some adult assistance. Also, adults may wish to supervise as the putty could potentially break off and ruin clothes or carpets. Overall, Thinking Putty Puzzle is a unique puzzle game for children to challenge their problem solving skills!
