Go Go Gelato!

Lower Age: 6+
Price: $19.99
Year Added: 2017

Go Go Gelato! is a colorful game where children ages six and up create specialized desserts to match their client’s orders. This game, which can be played alone or in teams, includes 16 cones, 12 colorful gelato scoops, 54 challenge cards, and a set of illustrated rules. Players begin with four cones in front of them - three that are paired with the same-color scoop and one cone on its own. The challenge is to correctly arrange the cones, left to right, to match the customers’ orders on the challenge cards. But the catch is that players can never touch the “gelato scoops” with their hands, only with the cones! Players make observations and define the type of arrangement they must create with the challenge cards. When playing with others, children race to finish first and yell ‘Go Go Gelato!’ As children work to accomplish this, they develop spatial reasoning skills to manage the organization of the different colors and components. Go Go Gelato involves the use of logical reasoning within the context of serving customers, or clients. This element of gameplay encourages children to have an awareness of the client’s viewpoint as they look for solutions and sets Go Go Gelato! apart from other logical thinking games.
