Moon Spinner, by Thinkfun, is a puzzle game for children ages 8+.
It is a flat frame that contains several rotating circles and functions similarly to a Rubik’s Cube. Players begin with the colored sections fully assembled and then randomly rotate the circles to mix up the design. Players must then rotate the circles to reassemble the colored sections and solve the puzzle.
For those who are good at Rubik’s-Cube-style puzzles, this will likely be an easy puzzle to complete. However, it can be quite challenging for others (including most of the reviewers of this particular item).
While playing with Moon Spinner, children will build spatial reasoning, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. It may take a while to solve the puzzle, promoting perseverance.

One reviewer said,
"I really like the idea of this toy. I love how it is a similar idea to a Rubik's cube, but presents the problem in a different way as it is a circle rather than a cube. I like the concept of this toy and think it would be a good toy for children who enjoy Rubik's Cube style puzzles."
