Innovation to Reality

Purdue Women in Engineering Program is offering a FREE "Innovation to Reality" (I2R) program with hands-on engineering and science activities for 6th-8th grade students, both girls and boys. Register online today!

The Spring 2014 engineering theme is "Engineering for Space Exploration” From the earth to the moon, mars and beyond, by using creativity and imagination, engineers and scientists have shaped the way we explore space to discover the unknown. This session provides an opportunity to understand some of the engineering involved in getting food, water, health or transportation in the outer space, and more.

The session will run for 5 weeks, meeting once a week on the Purdue campus for 2 hours.  We'll have presentations, lab tours, and hands-on activities coordinated by Purdue faculty and students.  The Space session will be held on Thursdays, February 13 to March 13, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
