Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana:

The Challenger Learning Center of Northwest Indiana's mission is to create an exciting learning environment that promotes the continued exploration of the Earth and space sciences through innovative programs that challenge how teacher educate, students learn, and businesses operate. We seek to fost in the community a long-term interest in science, technology, engineering, and math. Students work as teams in mission control and aboard a spacecraft as they test their decision-making skills and solve problems during this innovative, inquiry based, space-themed science and math simulation. Pre and post-flight acitivities allow teachers to prepare students for their flight as well as use the experience to delve further into science and technology careers.
