The Terre Haute Children's Museum President's Day and Lightwire Theatre Presentation
The Terre Haute Children’s Museum (THCM) has announced that it will be open on Monday, Feb. 17, Presidents’ Day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and at 1 p.m., there will be a special presentation by Lightwire Theatre.
Unique and visually dazzling, Lightwire Theatre was featured on “America’s Got Talent” and has been praised for its cutting edge blend of puppetry, technology, and dance by audiences all over the world. During their presentation at the Museum they will provide a preview of their new production, DiNO-Light, and they will demonstrate the science behind the show. The presentation is free with Museum admission.
DiNO-Light is a heart-warming original story, created by Corbian Visual Arts and Dance, which features a friendly dinosaur who wanders away from home and discovers a world of creatures who light up the darkness and help him find the true meaning of love. Lightwire Theater will present their full DiNO-Light production at Hatfield Hall at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology at 7 p.m. on Monday,Feb. 17, and those who attend the presentation at the Museum will receive a coupon for $1 off the show! The Terre Haute Children’s Museum, located at the corner of 8th Street and Wabash Avenue in downtown Terre Haute, is a nonprofit institution dedicated to enriching our children’s lives through the exploration of science and technology. Museum admission is free for members of the Terre Haute Children’s Museum and children under 24 months. Regular admission is $7 for adults and children over 24 months.
