The Evansville Museum of Arts, History and Science was founded in the late 19th century and continues today as one of Southwestern Indiana’s most established and significant cultural centers. Located on the banks of the Ohio River, our museum serves the broad regional area, offering a wide variety of quality exhibitions and educational programs in the areas of art, history and science.

Every year the Evansville Museum hosts over a dozen new exhibitions in addition to offering public outreach, a variety of classes, teachers training, science demonstrations and planetarium shows. We make an array of educational programming available to schools and groups. The site of Indiana's first planetarium, within the next few years we will enhance our presence with the creation of our Koch Immersive Theater. Offering the very latest in digital technology, our new planetarium will allow for the exploration of our amazing Universe inside a stunning, new domed theater where you will be able to experience traditional star shows, view amazing full-dome cinema presentations and discover the wonders of the galaxy.
