Author of "Hidden Figures" to Speak at Purdue

The author of the book “Hidden Figures,” Margot Lee Shetterly, will be coming to campus. The movie based on the book is currently in theaters. Ms. Shetterly will be speaking on Wednesday, January 25th at 7:30 p.m. in Loeb Playhouse. The event is free and open to the public. Copies of the book will be for sale that evening and she will be signing books following her talk.

2017 Solar Eclipse

On August 21, 2017, a total eclipse of the Sun will be visible in the Continental U.S. Communities in northern Oregon, parts of Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina will have the chance to see the daytime Sun covered by the Moon.
