Simulation and Capstone Project Center

The Simulation and Capstone Project Center serves as the analysis and meeting area for project teams in our Senior Design and Simulation courses. It includes workspaces with advanced collaboration facilities, stations with appropriate simulation and other analysis tools, and other semi-private meeting areas.

Our senior design Capstone Projects offer significant benefits to corporate partners, including improvement in manufacturing processes, increased efficiencies and waste reduction. Past projects have helped many large and small companies, including Caterpillar, United Parcel Service, IU Health, Lowe’s, Fiat Chrysler Automotive, Intel, General Motors and many non-profit companies like Goodwill Industries.

Among the simulation tools available in the Center is Simio, made available under a grant from Simio LLC.
