This fall, Purdue IE is experiencing the largest enrollment ever! We're also pleased to announce that U.S. News & World Report has ranked our undergraduate program #3 in the nation. These milestones are due to overall Purdue Engineering growth resulting from the College's Strategic Growth Initiative, more and better recruiting of new students and faculty, and expansion of industrial engineering into new industries, especially healthcare and data analytics. Current students are seeing more potential applications of IE than in the past. The next generation of IEs will not only be known for prowess in manufacturing, but across all industries needing skills in data-driven decision making for human-integrated systems.
