Dr. Claire A. Nelson is Chief Ideation Leader of Sagient Futures LLC and the Development Foresight Institute, a research and consulting practice specializing in Strategic Foresight and Sustainability Engineering. She launched the Sustainable Caribbean Sea Futures Initiative, created to enhance governance and management of the Caribbean Sea. Dr. Nelson has over thirty years of experience in program design and management at the Inter-American Development Bank.
