    Milling Machine

For Users: Mill Standard Operating Procedures

The mill is used to fill all of our labs planar circuit board and device needs. It can fabricate things as simple as low frequency pc boards and microstrip resonatorsthrough things as complex as the full RF Tx/Rx chain for a phased array radar. This design involved several boards, several materials and many circuits including phase shifters, power amplifiers, distribution networks, stacked patch antennas, and low noise amplifiers. The mill's flexibility allows designs to quickly move from simulation in our computing lab to measurement in our characterization lab.
