Vapor Containment and Fire Suppression
Overview
NTO Vapors Contained by Foam
Vapor Containment Test Setup
This project aims to use firefighting foams to contain the vapors
of toxic and hazardous propellants. The project goals are:
- Contain vapors of MMH and NTO up to 8 hours
- Maintain separation between propellants to prevent further reaction
- Modify foams to neutralize propellants during the 8 hour containment
