This project aims to use firefighting foams to contain the vapors of toxic and hazardous propellants. The project goals are:

  • Contain vapors of MMH and NTO up to 8 hours
  • Maintain separation between propellants to prevent further reaction
  • Modify foams to neutralize propellants during the 8 hour containment
