Robert Proctor, Professor in Psychological Sciences, awarded Franklin V. Taylor Award
Professor Robert Proctor, Psychological Sciences, who has worked with Herrick faculty on many research projects and proposals and is a member of the perception-based engineering group of researchers at Purdue, has been named recipient of this year's Franklin V. Taylor Award. His award was made for Outstanding Contributions in the Field of Applied Experimental/Engineering Psychology. This is an award given by the American Psychological Association.
Many of our students, working at the interface of engineering and human perception/impact, have taken Professor Proctor's Human Factors class, a course co-listed in Psychology and in Industrial Engineering.
