University College London - UK

Founded in 1826, University College London (UCL) is the oldest and largest of the colleges and institutes that together make up the University of London.  UCL has a total student enrollment of well over 12,000 undergraduates and 7,000 graduate students. It has an international reputation for its teaching and research. 

Term dates:  The academic year is divided into three terms.  Purdue students can apply to study at UCL for either the entire academic year or terms 2 + 3, which would be comparable to the Purdue spring semester.

Module catalog:  Be aware that the word course refers to a plan of study.  A class or course is called a module at UCL.

Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology - Australia

RMIT University's main campus is located in Melbourne's city center, within walking distance of shops, inexpensive cafés, pubs and cinemas. The Swanston Street tram provides excellent transportation throughout the city and makes frequent stops at RMIT. Trendy Brunswick Street, known for its coffeehouses, eateries and alternative scene, is in nearby Fitzroy. Additionally, Melbourne's Little Italy is easily accessible via a short walk or quick tram ride to Lygon Street, where students can enjoy more cafés, pizzerias and other ethnic foods.

University of Canterbury - New Zealand

Founded in beautiful New Zealand in 1873, the University of Canterbury is now a modern autonomous university with an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research. The university is located on a modern, suburban campus that offers extensive sporting and recreational activities to complement its scholastic reputation. Hong Kong University of Science and Technology was founded in 1991 and has developed into one of the world's preeminent institutions of higher education.  HKUST is comprised of four schools: Science; Engineering; Business and Management; Humanities and Social Science.  The language of instruction is English.

University of Bristol - UK

The University of Bristol was founded in 1876 and was the first education institution in England to admit women on an equal basis to men.  It consists of 45 different departments in six faculties:  Arts, Engineering, Medicine, Science, Social Sciences and Veterinary Medicince. 

Bristol is a port city of 500,000 approximately 120 miles west of London.  It is the home of the British aerospace industry (Airbus and Rolls-Royce) and a Hewlett-Packard research center.
