Hello, I'm a junior in Biomedical engineering double minoring in Spanish and Global Engineering. I work in the Global Engineering Department as the Student Office Assistant and I'm involved in Women in Engineering, GEARE, and Purdue's rowing team. This past summer I participated in an online research internship with the University of Bogota in Colombia, focusing on fighting skin cancer through the development of infrared laser reactive hydrogels and photothermal therapy. I look forward to studying and working abroad, hopefully in Colombia.
