United Kingdom Space Student Alliance Conference Meeting Trip

Bristol, Great Britain
February 22-25th, 2013

Michael Zwach, a 2013 GEP alumni writes: "The Students for the Exploration and Development of Space United Kingdom Branch held their annual conference in Bristol, England February 23rd and the 24th and brought together more than 300 students from across the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States of America. I had the fortunate ability to attend provided the sponsorship of the Purdue Global Engineering Program, Undergraduate Office, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Study Abroad Program. As President and Chairman of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space USA (SEDS-USA) branch it was critical that I attend to meet with the leadership of United Kingdom (UKSEDS) and European Branches (EUROAVIA SEDS) and discuss our commitments of international collaboration as SEDS-EARTH. I enjoyed attending session talks on topics matters from the exploration of Venus to the development of "air-breathing rocket engines" on the SKYLON space plane in between meeting with the branch leadership teams."
