Thank you Francesco Colasanti, you will be missed

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Francesco Colasanti. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to know Francesco, if only for a short time. His kindness will always be remembered..."

Professor McComb reflects:

During our Spring Break study abroad in Rome, we had the opportunity to interact with many engineering and nursing students from Sapienza University.  One in particular was with us for many of our activities throughout week; his name was Francesco Colasanti (second from right with us in Pompeii). Even though we only knew him for a brief time, he was a very special individual who had the uncommon ability to touch the lives of others through acts of kindness and his dedication to learning.  This week we learned that our friend Francesco has passed away far too soon.  We are all saddened by this news.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. This type of tragedy is so difficult to understand.  We are grateful that we had the opportunity to know Francesco, if only for a short time.  His kindness will always be remembered.
