“Innovative Ideas and Technologies vs. COVID-19 and beyond”
A Global Call from UNIDO
The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is inviting universities, incubators, startups, companies and other entities to participate in a global contest to identify and promote innovative solutions to tackle COVID-19 effects in developing countries and make their economies more resilient.
The initiative will be promoted through UNIDO’s network of Investment and Technology Promotion Offices (ITPOs) around the world.
Scalable solutions, aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals, will be honored in four categories: Health Emergency, Energy & Environment, Food & Agriculture, and Resilient Industries & Infrastructure.
Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2020, by completing this form.
The award ceremony will be live-streamed July 14, 2020.
Among benefits, winners will have opportunities to showcase their ideas and technologies to potential partners in the UNIDO network, including presenting at EuroScience Open Forum 2020 in Italy and EXPO Dubai 2021.
