SURF Orientation

Orientation Day

The SURF 2014 Program begins with a mandatory Orientation, on Tuesday, May 27, at 9:00 am, in PHYS 114.

The Orientation will include:

  • 9:00 to 10:00 am - Speakers and presentation 
  • 10:00 to 10:30 am - Sign up for the SURF Soccer League and receive your lab notebook
  • 1:00 pm - Visiting students and nanoHUB students meet their Lab Mentor at the Bell Tower

Guest speakers:

Dr. Melba Crawford, Associate Dean of Engineering, Office of Research
Dr. Rakesh Agrawal, Winthrop E. Stone Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering 

In addition to attending the Orientation meeting, students must provide participant information in order to complete the Orientation Process! The participant information must be submitted online by 5:00 PM on Friday, May 30

This online form contains items of information that will be used for the SURF 2014 program. Once you begin to provide information, please complete the entire form, then submit. The form does not allow you to save your work and return at a later date.
