Lead Web System Developer

Chris began working for ECN in January 2001 as the Lead Web Technician and is currently the Lead Web Systems Developer. He completed his Bachelor's of Science degree in IDS/CS from Purdue in May of 2003. Chris begins his day by checking his messages and queue items. He then prioritizes reported problems and handles any immediate concerns. His day then continues with working on any assigned projects. His main responsibility is to work on Zope, which is a web application server. Chris works on several special group web projects, and is also a system administrator, maintaining web clusters. Chris also works on projects for other departments, such as an EPA brownfield proposal site for the Civil Engineering Department. He has also worked on a special project for the Water Resources Research Center at Potter Engineering Library. When not at work, Chris spends time playing with Linux. He is the staff advisor for Purdue's Aiki Jujutsu Organization.
