Nelson Uhan

Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering

Dr. Nelson Uhan received A.B. and S.M. degrees in applied mathematics from Harvard University in 2002 and a Ph.D. in operations research from MIT in 2008. He worked in the mathematics and engineering analysis group at Boeing Phantom Works and at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research interests generally lie in the area of combinatorial optimization. In particular, he is interested in mathematical programming and combinatorial approaches to problems in scheduling, game theory, logistics, transportation, and network design.
