Ashlie Martini
Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Ashlie Martini received her B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University. Her research at Northwestern included simulation of thin film, elastohydrodynamic lubricated contact integrating molecular and continuum models and investigation of the relationship between the local surface properties of rough surfaces. She worked as a research assistant in the Energy Technology Division at Argonne National Laboratory. Dr. Martini's current research interests include molecular modeling of nanoscale interfaces, simulation-based interface design, and fluid power tribology.
