Robin Adams
Assistant Professor of Engineering Education
Robin Adams has a Ph.D. in Education, Leadership, and Policy Studies from the University of Washington, an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Washington, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University. Her research interests include design knowing and learning, interdisciplinary thinking, and strategies for connecting research on learning and teaching practice.
She is a member of the American Society of Engineering Education, International Society of the Learning Sciences, American Society of Higher Education, American Education Research Association, and Society of Women Engineers. She won the Design Studies Best Paper of the Year in 2003.
