Giving Overview

"Your generosity has laid the foundation for this growth, and we appreciate your continued support as we rise to the challenges of the 21st century." — Tyson Pinion, Director of Advancement

Since my arrival to Purdue University and the College of Engineering, I have met many of the college's outstanding alumni and alumnae, donors and friends. I appreciate the warm welcome I've received and look forward to meeting more of you in the days ahead.

I am delighted to join the University during such an auspicious time. Under Dean Jamieson's leadership, the strategic growth plan will enhance the college's well-established reputation for excellence, expand our capacity for innovation in education, enable new partnerships within and beyond Purdue, and strengthen the international preeminence of our research.

Your generosity has laid the foundation for this growth, and we appreciate your continued support as we rise to the challenges of the 21st century.

This year we will continue to implement the goals of the strategic growth initiative through targeted fundraising efforts, including scholarship endowments; graduate student fellowships; endowments for distinguished, named, and mid-career, rising-star professorships; and revitalization of facilities and new capital projects.

As we look forward to rapid growth and transformational change, we appreciate your unwavering support of the college. Since joining the University, I have been impressed by the active engagement of engineering alumni and alumnae to advance learning, discovery and innovation.

I look forward to working with you to support our faculty, staff and students as they excel, engage and make a difference. Together, we will expand the reach of the college's global impact.
