Purdue contingent participates in USS INDIANA commissioning

A group of Purdue representatives was among the 5,000 attendees September 28-29 at Port Canaveral, Fla., for the commissioning of the nuclear-powered submarine USS INDIANA (SSN 789). It is the first Navy ship to be named after the State of Indiana since World War II and the third overall to be named after the state.
