CoE student receives Córdova award

Rebecca (Becca) Logsdon, a PhD student in agricultural and biological engineering and ecological sciences and engineering interdisciplinary program, has received the 2014 France A. Córdova Award for Leadership in Action.

The award honors a graduating student who has demonstrated exceptional leadership while at Purdue. The student must have held successful leadership roles at Purdue, working in partnership with staff and faculty to move the university forward, while maintaining a minimum 3.0 grade point average.

Logsdon will be recognized at commencement and will receive a certificate and a cash award of $2,300. She was presented the award on at the Student Activities and Organizations Awards Reception at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, in the North Ballroom of Purdue Memorial Union.
