|Engineering Computer Network|
Since 1976 the Engineering Computer Network has provided computer systems and support to meet the specific needs of each of the Schools of Engineering at Purdue University.
Our Facilities vary for each of the Schools of Engineering based on the enrollment and needs of their students, faculty and staff. Across all schools ECN supports over 580 UNIX Machines (AIX, HP-UX, IRIX, Solaris, and SunOS), 400 Linux Machines (Redhat), 2500 Windows Machines, and 140 Macs. ECN maintains a high speed Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) for Engineering Students, Faculty, and Staff.
