|Ecological Engineering Laboratory|
In this laboratory, students and post-docs in environmental and ecological engineering conduct research on the fate of pollutants in the environment, strategies for the remediation of contaminated soils and aquifers, and strategies for generally improving soil and water quality. Students conduct bench scale studies to evaluation and model the physical, chemical and biological processes that occur in natural and engineered environmental systems. This lab is home-base for many field-scale ecological engineering projects.
